gfarm-client software package provides Gfarm file system clients, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfarm-client
gfarm-client is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfarm-client package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfarm-client *
You will get with gfarm-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
